These photos are a wistful reflection about "Summer". The title refers to an accounting of, "What I did last summer". The title plays on the words "lost/found" which reflect my Father's journey of losing his memory to Alzhemier's. These photographs were made over a three year period. I had my young son and father who were both very active and vulnerable. Being at the beach (Oregon) was an equalizer. It was a place we all loved, could be together and free.
These are all silver gelatin archival prints, the image size is approximately 10"x10". The images were made on medium format black and white film with a "Diana" camera. The camera is a plastic lens vintage toy camera I've worked with over the past twenty years.
